How Much Is Hayu? A Complete Guide to Reality TV Streaming Costs

If your idea of a relaxing evening involves high-end drama, unfiltered confessionals, and keeping up with the Kardashians, Hayu is likely already on your radar. As the premier streaming service dedicated entirely to reality television, Hayu offers thousands of episodes—often dropping new episodes the same day they air in the US.

Whether you are looking to start a new binge or trying to budget your streaming subscriptions, understanding how much Hayu costs across different regions and plans is essential.

Hayu Subscription Tiers and Pricing

Hayu keeps its pricing model relatively straightforward, offering three main billing cycles: Monthly-rolling, 6-month rolling, and 12-month rolling. Committing to longer terms unlocks built-in discounts compared to paying month-to-month.

Pricing varies depending on your country of residence. Below is a breakdown of standard pricing in major regions:

1. United Kingdom

• Monthly: £5.99
• 6-Month: £28.99
• 12-Month: £52.99

2. Australia

• Monthly: AUD $8.99
• 6-Month: AUD $43.99
• 12-Month: AUD $79.99

3. Canada

• Monthly: CAD $7.99 (plus applicable taxes)
• 6-Month: CAD $38.99 (plus applicable taxes)
• 12-Month: CAD $70.99 (plus applicable taxes)

4. Europe (Selected Countries)

• Ireland / Netherlands: €6.99 monthly / €33.99 for 6 months / €61.99 annually.
• Germany / France / Spain / Italy: €4.99 monthly / €23.99 for 6 months / €43.99 annually.

5. New Zealand

• Monthly: NZD $10.99
• 6-Month: NZD $53.99
• 12-Month: NZD $97.99

Perks and Savings: Is It Worth Going Annual?

If you know you are going to be watching reality TV year-round (through multiple seasons of Below Deck, The Real Housewives, and Vanderpump Rules), opting for the annual plan is generally the most cost-effective route. It typically saves you roughly 20% to 26% compared to paying every 30 days.

Furthermore, almost all direct sign-ups come with a 7-day free trial, allowing you to test out the app, check the library catalog, and see if the video quality and interface suit your needs before any money leaves your account.

Alternative Ways to Get Hayu

Depending on where you live, you don’t necessarily have to sign up directly through Hayu’s website or app. You can often bundle or add it to existing entertainment platforms:

• Third-Party Channels: In some regions, Hayu is available as an add-on channel via platforms like Amazon Prime Video channels or NOW (UK).
• Mobile & Telecom Bundles: Certain mobile providers and digital add-on services (such as Koodo in Canada) occasionally offer promotional discounts or integrated streaming hubs where you can tack Hayu onto your monthly phone or internet bill.

Note: Promotional pricing or partner bundles may vary, so always check the checkout screen for local taxes or limited-time introductory offers.

Summary

Hayu remains one of the more niche, budget-friendly streaming services on the market. For roughly the cost of a couple of coffees a month, you get unlimited access to a massive, guilt-pleasure library of reality television.
